Before your first visit
Does acupuncture hurt?
Most patients feel little or nothing. The needles are about as thin as a hair, and Barbara’s approach is known for being gentle. Many people fall asleep during treatment.
I'm only here for the season. Is that enough time?
Yes. At your free consultation Barbara builds a plan around your arrival and departure dates, and can show you simple acupressure points to use when you go home.
Do you accept insurance?
Barbara is a VA Community Care provider for eligible veterans. Ask during your consultation about other plans and payment options.
